How to get here
Laives Trail ist a GreenEvent, which means that it is ecofriendly and with a low impact on our environment. Therefore, we would be pleased if you choose ecofriendly means of transport for your arrival.
By car to Laives
Coing from South on the „Autostrada del Brennero“
Take the highway exit „Egna/Ora“ and drive in the direction Bolzano/Laives for about 15 km on the road SS12. Without taking the tunnel, follow the signs “Laives Sud” to reach the center of the city.
Coming from North on the „Autostrada del Brennero“
Take the highway exit “Bolzano Sud” and drive in the direction Trento/Laives for about 10 km on the route SS12. After passing a tunnel of about 2 km, which connects Bolzano and Laives, follow the sign “Laives Nord”, without taking a second tunnel, to reach the center of the city.
By Train
DB/ÖBB/SBB
With the saver’s prices from DB Bahn, for example, for as little as 46.90 Euro, depending on availability. Short distances are even cheaper, e.g. Munich-Bolzano from 18.90 Euro. 5 times daily direct. Own children/grandchildren under 15 years ride free of charge (must be entered on parent’s/grandparent’s ticket).
TIP: Connecting ticket South Tyrol
On board the Eurocity trains of DB/ÖBB between Munich and Bolzano, and in the DB travel centers connecting tickets “Anschlussticket Südtirol” can be purchased for a special price of 5.00 Euro. The tickets are valid on the day of purchase; the date must be recorded on the ticket!
From Bolzano to Laives by bus
All international trains stop in Bolzano. From there you reach Laives by buses 110-111-112. The ticket cost is 1,50€, you can buy it on the bus.
